Powerful air cleansing for powerful pollution
The FRESH AIR Car Air Ionizer is a real "Lifesaver" making driving your car or van more pleasurable than ever.
You don't need to hit a tree to hurt yourself on the road. Today's high levels of Particulate and Volatile Organic Compounds in the air around major arteries means that by the end of the day, even with the best of air conditioning, you are ingesting high levels of pollutants.
With FRESH AIR's new Car Air system, you'll arrive happier, more clearminded and healthy.
: Kills germs, viruses, fungi and bacteria
Photo-catalyst Filter: Breaks down poisonous fumes, e.g. formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia into CO2 and H2O and eliminates cigarette, smoke and other odors.
HEPA filter: Traps particles like allergens, pollen, dust, smoke, pet dander and etc.
Activated carbon filter: Absorbs smoke and odors
Negative oxygen ions: Improves the air quality by combining with dust or reacting with odor molecules.
Latest carbon brush technology rather than needles means at least two years continuous life without degradation of ionizing ability
There has never been a better unit with more comprehensive lifesaving features than this.
Airborne Bacteria
Bacteria grow in a wide variety of habitats and conditions. Much of our experience with bacteria involves disease, though some bacteria live on or in the human body and prevent disease. Bacterial parasites that cause disease are called pathogens. Some dramatic bacterial killers are Colera, Tuberculosis, and Legionnaires Disease.
Thousands of types of bacteria are been catalogued in the air in major city environments. These airborne bacteria include:
- Escherichia coli
- botulism-causing bacteria (bacterium Clostridium botulinum)
- whooping cough bacteria (Bordetella pertussis)
- pneumonia bacteria (Mycoplasma pneumoniae)
- bronchitis bacteria (Chlamydia pneumoniae)
-
meningitis bacteria (Haemophilus influenzae)
- tuberculosis bacteria (Mycobacterium tuberculosis)
- diphtheria bacteria (Corynebacteria diphtheria)
- scarlet fever bacteria (Streptococcus pyogenes)
- otitis media bacteria (Streptococcus pneumoniae)
- anthrax bacteria (Bacillus anthracis)
Airborne Germs and Moulds
Many germs and viruses are airborne - including:
- chickenpox virus (Varicella zoster)
- smallpox virus (Poxvirus variola)
- pneumonia
- mumps virus
- measles
- influenza
- common cold
UV LIGHT is a popular method of destroying airborne bacteria and viruses.
Moulds and Spores
when inhaled even in small amounts may produce:
- allergens
- irritants
- sometimes toxins
that may cause reactions in humans.
Health problems may include:
- respiratory nasal & sinus congestion
- throat irritations
- watery and red eyes
and may add to other existing health conditions.
Influenza
Remember,
- people with colds rarely get fevers
- flu is often accompanied by headaches
- flu viruses can cause extreme exhaustion
10 to 20 percent of New Zealanders come down with the Influenza during each flu season, which is typically late autumn and winter. The flu and its complications can be life-threatening for elderly people, newborn babies, and people with certain chronic illnesses.
The viruses can pass through the air and enter your body through your nose or mouth. When a person with the flu sneezes, they can send germs as far as 20 feet away. Since influenza viruses can remain airborne for up to two hours, they are easily inhaled by another person. That’s why influenza infection spreads quickly.
You can spread influenza to others before your symptoms start and for another 3 to 4 days after your symptoms appear. The symptoms start very quickly and may include:
- Headache
- Chills
- Dry cough
- Body aches
- Fever
- Stuffy nose
- Sore throat
In The Home
New research shows that spending too much time inside the car can put your health at risk because of the in-car pollutants which can play havoc with your heart and respiratory system. The research published in American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine points to the fact that prolonged exposure to dirty air inside vehicles could trigger potentially dangerous changes in heart function.
In air conditioned cars you are trapping the worst quality of air inside the car and circulating the same polluted air again and again.
There is lot of evidence that environmental pollutants have an adverse effect on our well being. Long time exposure to these pollutants whether inside the car or outside reduces oxidant stress in the body which damages the lining of blood vessels ultimately contributing to heart diseases''.
In the study, the researchers monitored the heart rates of troopers of North Carolina State Highway Patrol Cars. Researchers say that troopers were in excellent health and appeared to be at low risk for heart or other health problems. But they found prolonged exposure to air pollution inside the troopers' vehicles prompted changes in the heart rate that could be hazardous on less healthy individuals.
According to the US EPA, the air inside your home may be up to 10 times more polluted than the air outside.
There are many sources of indoor air pollution in any home. These include:
- central heating and cooling systems
- tobacco products
- building materials
- furnishings
- products for household cleaning and maintenance
- humidification devices
Other sources, related to activities carried out in the home, release pollutants intermittently. These include smoking, solvents in cleaning and hobby activities, the use of paint strippers in redecorating activities, and the use of cleaning products and pesticides in house-keeping. High pollutant concentrations can remain in the air for long periods after some of these activities.
If too little outdoor air enters a home, pollutants can accumulate to levels that can pose health and comfort problems.
The FRESH AIR Car Ionizer is a real "Lifesaver" installs in less than 5 minutes in the car. It comes with a cigar lighter power cord and velcro strips to secure it to the dash.
If you want to use it in the home or next to your computer it works perfectly with a 12V converter.
Filter Life: Filters last 6 months for the HEPA filter and 12 months for the photocatalytic filter. The charcoal filter may be renewed using a microwave.
A handy filterlife chart allows you to record filter installation time.
Power Usage: It draws only 8 watts of power and so may be left on for long periods even if you are not travelling.
Two fan speeds: 30 cu.m/hr or 15 cu.m/hr
UV Lamp life approx. 20,000hrs
Negative ion Output: <= 4,500,000 ions/cc (measured at 10cm)
Size: Just 210 x 120 x 75
There are car air ionizers on the market in New Zealand with half of the features of this system and selling at around $700 and they don't even filter the air.
The FRESH AIR Car Air system is a real Lifesaver. It filters the air and finally ionizes the cleansed flow. The result is a system far more effective than previously available. Like a Lifesaver, it's powerful, dependable and there when you need it most.
Why not invest in your own compact, super-efficient, 5-in-1 car and home air energy and filter system today?
